Update on End Polio Campaign

Carol is the End Polio Chair for our District 6440 (2016-2017).  She has also served as the Wilmette Harbor Rotary Club EPN Chair since since she joined Rotary in 2011.  She traveled to Nigeria in 2013 for an NID (National Immunization Day) with a group of International Rotarians led by our current District Governor.  Most recently, in June of this year, Carol observed the STOP (Stop Transmission of Polio) training for a week at the CDC in Atlanta, GA.

Carol's business background:  She worked in the commodities business at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange - now known as the CME Group - from 1980-2000, and traded in the S & P 500 Futures and the GSCI (Goldman Sachs Commodity Index).  She left the exchange in 2000, but still retains her membership.  She is currently a yoga instructor with the CAC - Chicago Athletic Clubs.
