From the Cincinnati Reds to the Moscow Reds

         Some members may remember a fascinating presentation recently from Irwin Weil, a distinguished professor of Russian and Russian Literature at Northwestern University since 1966. He returns to our club to discuss his most recent publication, which is a book of memoirs: "From the Cincinnati Reds To the Moscow Reds" (amazon.com). It covers his baseball family (his Father was owner of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team) to his 55 years of experience among a different kind of Reds in Moscow and then in post-Soviet Russia.
