Patrick Price holds a Bachelors of Arts in Linguistics from Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed an executive education certification from the Center of Nonprofit Management at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Prior to his work as the Director of Development and Marketing for North Shore Senior Center, Mr. Price held the positions of Director of Philanthropy for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center (2008-2012) and Director of Philanthropy Services as well as Assistant Capital Campaign Director for the Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter in Glenview, Illinois (2001-2007).

 

In his current role, Mr. Price coordinates a multifaceted strategy for resource generation that includes annual appeals, workplace giving and matched gifts, grants management and prospect research, a major-gift program, planned and estate gifts, e-philanthropy, special events and auctions, donor recognition and affinity programs, as well as staff and board training in the culture of philanthropy. He also is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement. He served two three-year terms as a board member and secretary of the Chicago Council on Planned Giving from 2007 to 2013.

 

Mr. Price is both Ojibwa and French. While living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during the 1988-2008, he taught Native American studies at the Telesis Institute of Alverno College, the Ewens Center of Mount Mary University and Cardinal Stritch University (all located in Milwaukee).
