Robert Mardirossian
Family Services, Psychotherapy, and Human Behavior

Robert Mardirossian, Ph.D.has worked in a variety of settings during his 35 years as a psychotherapist and administrator. Prior to accepting the position of executive director at Family Service of Winnetka-Northfield in 1994, Robert worked at the University of Chicago's Student Counselling Department and the Fillmore Center for Human Services,  large mental health center for the Berwyn Cicero communities. Dr.Mardirossian has treated an extensive range of clients with a wide arrange of problems. Specializing in the treatment of adolescents, young adults, adults and couples. Dr. Mardirossian has helped people from suffering from depression, anxiety or low esteem; couples struggling with communication and intimacy; teens and young adults grappling with identity issues; and individuals caught in the web of internet addictions .

Dr. Mardirossian received his B.A. in Sociology from Beloit College in 1975; his M. A. from the University of Chicago School of School of Social Service Administration in 1981;and his Ph.D. from the Chicago institute for Clinical Social Work in 1993. To enhance his work with couples, he had intensive training at Loyola University Medical Center's Sexual Dysfunction Clinic. He is on the faculty at the Institute for Clinical Socail Work, Lectured at Loyola Universit  y's School of Social Work and served on the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Examining and Disciplinary Board.

Since his marrige to M Lavin, a former Marine, Robert has spent less time scuba diving and mre time on the range, shooting not golf.
