Official Visit

Julie is retired in the sales and marketing profession where she worked on developing recognition and service programs for fortune 100 companies.   Julie has also been in business development and marketing for a nationally recognized non-medical senior care company. 

Julie is a member of the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates Rotary Club “The Friendly Club”. She has been in Rotary for 15 years. She served as President in 2010-11.  She is a recipient of the Rotarian of the Year award and the Aaron Ruff Award, which is an award that is given for living the Four Way Test in both your professional and personal life. She is a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Paul Harris Society and a member of the Bequest Society.

Julie has served at the District level as a Fall Seminar Chair, Assistant Governor and Trainer.  She is the recipient of the District Rotarian of the Year Award.  Julie is happily married for 29 years to her husband John.  She lives in Elgin for the last 28 years.  They have one daughter, Allison who is married to Brett and they have one child Leeroy John they live in Michigan.

Julie is a founding member and Past President of the Amita Breast Cancer Ambassador Group that supports education, public awareness and mentoring for those diagnosed with breast cancer.  This group is affiliated with Amita Health in the Northwest Suburbs.
